National Cheng Kung University Hospital (NCKUH) is committed to evolving medical information systems from traditional "data storage" into "intelligent action." The AgentBuilder platform, through its low-code and highly integrated development environment, empowers clinical experts to rapidly construct AI agents capable of autonomous perception, reasoning, and execution. By deeply integrating with hospital workflows, the platform effectively reduces the administrative burden on medical teams, allowing them to focus on the core of patient care.

Addressing key pain points in clinical practice, NCKUH has developed three pivotal applications via AgentBuilder:

1. Generative AI for Patient Education: Precision Transformation of Medical Language
The patient education agents configured through the AgentBuilder Platform can translate complex medical terminology into personalized, easy-to-understand content. This not only shortens the time healthcare providers spend on repetitive communication but also effectively enhances patient health literacy and treatment adherence.

2. By leveraging AI, we expect to reduce preoperative documentation and assessment time by 30% to 50%. This system standardizes risk assessments to minimize medication errors and human oversight while providing plain-language education to alleviate patient anxiety and enhance overall perioperative care quality.

3. Mentorship for Novice Pharmacists: Accelerating Professional Knowledge Transfer
To keep pace with rapidly updating medical knowledge, AgentBuilder has constructed a "Digital Mentor." During prescription reviews, the agent provides real-time alerts for drug interactions and clinical guidelines. Through interactive learning, it shortens the training cycle for novice pharmacists, building a robust defense for medication safety.

The AgentBuilder platform will continue to expand its scope of application. By optimizing model components and data collaboration, it aims to build a more comprehensive smart healthcare environment, fully enhancing NCKUH’s clinical R&D capacity and high-quality medical services.
